Moist, rich, bakery-style banana bread you can make with just a few pantry staples. This is the perfect way to use those ripe bananas and get a delicious homemade treat.
Ingredients

3 large overripe bananas, mashed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5 loaf pan.

Mash bananas in a bowl until mostly smooth.

Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.

Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined.

Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.

Pour batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
