1 lb ground beef

1 lb Italian sausage

1 medium onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

28 oz crushed tomatoes

15 oz tomato sauce

6 oz tomato paste

2 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

12 lasagna noodles

15 oz ricotta cheese

1 large egg
-
2 cups shredded mozzarella

1 cup shredded parmesan

Fresh basil or parsley
Instructions

Brown beef and sausage in olive oil, then add onion and garlic.

Stir in tomatoes, sauce, paste, seasoning, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer.

Mix ricotta, egg, and half the parmesan.

Boil noodles if not oven ready.

Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and repeat.
