  • 1.5 tsp baking powder

  • 6 cups neutral frying oil


Instructions

  • Mix buttermilk with seasonings and marinate chicken for at least 4 hours.

  • Combine flour, cornstarch, and baking powder in a wide bowl.

  • Heat oil to 350°F in a deep pan.

  • Dredge chicken in flour mixture, pressing to create craggy edges.
