Creamy, rich, and incredibly satisfying. This Chicken Alfredo Pasta is the kind of comfort food dinner everyone asks for again and again.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta or pasta of choice

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta cooking water (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.

  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove from pan.

  4. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.

  5. Pour in heavy cream and allow it to simmer gently.

  6. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

  7. Return chicken to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss until everything is well coated.

  8. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
