Description

A quick sizzling chicken stir fry that tastes better than takeout and comes together in minutes. Fresh veggies and tender chicken make this your new favorite weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 1 cup snow peas

  • 1 medium carrot, sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • ¼ cup chicken broth

  • 1 tsp sesame oil


Instructions

  • Toss sliced chicken with cornstarch.

  • Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, broth, vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil.

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove.

  • Add remaining oil and sauté garlic and ginger.

  • Add broccoli, peppers, carrots, and snow peas and stir fry until crisp.

  • Return chicken and pour in sauce.

  • Toss to coat, simmer briefly, and serve hot.
