- 1 cup hot coffee or hot water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare two 9-inch cake pans.
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, then mix until smooth.
- Slowly pour in hot coffee or water while mixing.
- Divide batter between pans and tap gently to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before frosting or serving
