Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons fine sea salt

  • 1 cup crushed San Marzano tomatoes

  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced

  • Fresh basil leaves


Instructions

  • Mix warm water and yeast, then add flour, olive oil, and salt to form a dough.

  • Knead until smooth, then let rise until doubled.

  • Preheat oven with pizza stone to highest temperature.

  • Shape dough into a 12-inch round.

  • Spread tomatoes and add mozzarella.

  • Bake until crust is puffed and cheese is bubbly.

  • Top with basil, slice, and serve.
