Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or coconut cream


Instructions

  • In a bowl or jar, combine chia seeds, cocoa powder, and salt.

  • Add milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

  • Whisk thoroughly until smooth and well combined.

  • Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  • Stir before serving and adjust consistency if needed.

  • Add optional yogurt or cream, then serve with toppings of choice
