Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb chicken breasts or thighs

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup dry Marsala wine

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 0.75 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 2 tbsp water

  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear briefly in a hot skillet until golden.

  • Place chicken in the crock pot and top with mushrooms and garlic.

  • Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth, then stir gently.
