Ingredients

4–5 lb. boneless turkey breast, trimmed of excess fat

2 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp dried rosemary

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

1 medium onion, quartered

2 carrots, peeled and chopped

2 celery stalks, chopped

Optional: 2 tbsp butter, for searing or basting
Instructions

Pat the turkey breast dry and rub with olive oil, garlic, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

Place onions, carrots, and celery in the bottom of the crockpot and pour in chicken broth.

Set the turkey breast on top of the vegetables, add butter if desired, and cover.

Cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours without lifting the lid.

Optional: Sear cooked turkey in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side for a golden finish.
