Description

These chocolate pecan clusters taste like they came straight from a New Orleans candy shop. Rich, crunchy, and dangerously easy to make at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

  • 2 cups pecan halves, toasted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tsp coconut oil or butter (optional)


Instructions

  • Toast pecans in the oven at 350°F until fragrant, then cool completely.

  • Melt chocolate gently until smooth and glossy.

  • Stir vanilla, salt, and optional oil into the chocolate.

  • Fold pecans into the melted chocolate until fully coated.

  • Spoon clusters onto parchment-lined baking sheets.

  • Let clusters set at room temperature or chill briefly until firm
