Ingredients

32 oz frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed

1 can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1/2 cup melted unsalted butter

1/2 cup finely diced onion

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch dish.

Mix melted butter, sour cream, and condensed soup in a large bowl.

Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and onion. Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese.

Fold in thawed hashbrowns until coated.

Spread into baking dish and top with remaining cheese.

Combine crushed cornflakes with a bit of melted butter and sprinkle on top.
