Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites, at room temperature

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for cream

  • 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

  • Optional: edible glitter or mint leaves for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 225°F (110°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Draw wreath outlines as a guide.

  • Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, then vanilla, vinegar, and cornstarch until stiff, glossy peaks form.

  • Pipe meringue along the drawn circles to create wreaths. Build two layers for height.

  • Bake 1 hour, then leave in oven with door slightly open for an additional hour to cool.

  • Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

  • Assemble wreaths with whipped cream and berries, adding optional mint leaves or glitter.

  • Serve immediately for maximum crispness or store meringues unassembled in an airtight container
