Ingredients

4 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons white vinegar

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions

Wash and thinly slice cucumbers. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 10–15 minutes to remove excess moisture.

In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, vinegar, sugar, garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Pat cucumbers dry and combine with sliced red onion in the dressing. Toss gently to coat evenly.
