Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti or linguine

1 lb large prawns, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp toasted sesame oil

2 tbsp neutral oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari

1 tbsp rice vinegar
-
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

1/2 tsp chili flakes, optional

2 sheets nori, sliced

2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Salt and black pepper

2 scallions, sliced
Instructions

Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, reserve some pasta water, and drain.

Season and sear prawns in neutral oil until pink and lightly golden, then set aside.

Saute garlic and ginger briefly in the same pan until fragrant.

Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and chili flakes and simmer briefly.

Add pasta with a splash of pasta water and toss to coat.

Return prawns to the pan and drizzle in sesame oil.

Fold in nori and sesame seeds, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
