2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs, room temperature

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

½ cup whole milk

1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract, mixing well.

Alternately add flour mixture and milk, beginning and ending with flour, mixing gently.

Toss strawberries in a tablespoon of flour and fold into batter.
