Soft, creamy, and filled with fresh strawberries, these sandwiches are the perfect sweet treat for any time of day. One bite and you will want to make them again and again.
Ingredients

8 slices soft white bread or brioche

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tbsp powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, sliced

2 tbsp cream cheese (optional)

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

1 tbsp unsalted butter (optional)
Instructions

Whip the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries evenly, then pat them dry.

Remove crusts from the bread slices.

Spread whipped cream onto one slice of bread.

Layer strawberries evenly over the cream.

Add a thin layer of cream on top of the strawberries.

Place another slice of bread on top and press gently.

Chill the sandwiches for 15 to 20 minutes if desired.

Slice into halves or rectangles and serve immediately.
