Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings or drumettes

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1 cup cold water or buttermilk

  • Oil for frying

  • 3 tbsp powdered cheese

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp mustard


Instructions

  • Pat chicken dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

  • Mix flour, cornstarch, and spices, then add liquid to form batter.

  • Coat chicken evenly in batter.

  • Fry at 325°F for 6–8 minutes until lightly golden.

  • Rest briefly, then fry again at 350°F for 3–4 minutes until crispy.

  • Mix seasoning ingredients and toss with hot chicken.

  • Combine sauce ingredients until smooth.

  • Serve hot with dipping sauce.
