Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 1 cup warm water

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ¾ cup pizza sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni (optional)

  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers

  • ¼ cup red onion slices

  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms

  • Fresh basil leaves (optional)


Instructions

  • Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let sit for 5 to 7 minutes until foamy.

  • Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead until a smooth dough forms.

  • Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.

  • Oil a sheet pan generously and stretch the dough to fill the pan.

  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.

  • Add your preferred toppings such as pepperoni, vegetables, or herbs.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 18 to 22 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
