Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon rosewater

1/4 teaspoon saffron threads

2 tablespoons warm milk

1/2 cup chopped pistachios

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon butter
Instructions

Soak saffron in warm milk for 10–15 minutes.

Heat milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan while stirring.

Mix cornstarch with cold milk and add to the saucepan.

Stir in saffron mixture, rosewater, vanilla, and butter.
