Ingredients

2½ cups all-purpose flour

2½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

1¾ cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

¾ cup whole milk

½ cup fresh lemon juice

Zest of 2 lemons

1½ cups chopped fresh strawberries

2 cups powdered sugar

½ cup cream cheese, softened
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare two round cake pans.

Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs and lemon zest.

Alternate mixing in dry ingredients and milk.

Fold in lemon juice and strawberries gently.

Divide batter between pans and bake until set.
