2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)

2 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for the pan)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (225g)

1 cup pepperoni slices (approx. 28–30 slices)

¾ cup pizza sauce (180ml)

½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise 1 hour.

Oil a 9×13-inch pan and press the dough evenly. Let rest for 20 minutes.

Spread mozzarella over dough, ensuring edges touch the pan. Add pepperoni slices.

Spoon pizza sauce over the top in three stripes. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper.
