Ingredients

1 lb. fresh strawberries, hulled and washed

4 oz. cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp powdered sugar

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or paprika

2 tbsp finely chopped pistachios, almonds, or walnuts (optional garnish)

Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
Instructions

Wash and hull strawberries, creating a small cavity in each berry. Pat dry.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cayenne until smooth.

Transfer filling to a piping bag or small plastic bag and pipe into each strawberry cavity.

Garnish with nuts, lemon zest, or a dusting of paprika.

Chill for at least 20 minutes before serving.
