Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pound cake or sponge cake

  • 2 cups vanilla pudding

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1 cup raspberries

  • 1/2 cup fruit juice or syrup

  • 1 cup pastel candies or mini chocolate eggs


Instructions

  • Cut cake into cubes and lightly moisten with juice or syrup.

  • Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

  • Prepare and dry the fruit.

  • Layer cake, pudding, whipped cream, and fruit in a trifle dish.

  • Repeat layers until the dish is full.

  • Finish with whipped cream and garnish.

  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
