Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) cod fillets, skinless and boneless

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

1 lemon, sliced for garnish

Optional: fresh parsley, chopped for topping
Instructions

Pat cod fillets dry and rub with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and thyme.

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.

Place fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Remove cod carefully, garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley, and squeeze lemon juice over top if desired.

Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
Notes
For an extra crunchy crust, use panko breadcrumbs and press them in firmly.
Always pat cod fillets dry to help the coating stick better and stay crisp.
