- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a sheet pan.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda.
- Heat butter, oil, water, and cocoa in a saucepan until smooth.
- Pour chocolate mixture into dry ingredients and stir.
- Mix eggs, sour cream, and vanilla separately, then add to batter.
- Pour into pan and bake for 18–22 minutes.
- Prepare frosting by melting butter with cocoa, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla, then whisk in powdered sugar.
- Pour frosting over warm cake and spread evenly.
- Cool slightly, slice, and serve
