Description

Soft, warm, bakery-style cinnamon rolls at home. These fluffy spirals are the sweetest way to upgrade your mornings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ½ cups (420 g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup (240 ml) warm milk

  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp / 7 g) instant yeast

  • 1 large egg

  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar

  • 5 tbsp (70 g) melted butter

  • ½ cup (100 g) brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp (9 g) cinnamon

  • 4 tbsp (56 g) softened butter

  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar

  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  • Whisk warm milk, sugar, and yeast, then mix in melted butter and egg. Add flour gradually and knead until smooth.

  • Let dough rise until doubled.

  • Mix cinnamon and brown sugar. Roll dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter and filling.

  • Shape into a log and cut into 12 rolls.

  • Let rolls rise, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–22 minutes.

  • Whisk icing ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
