Ingredients

12 oz (340 g) linguine

1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, sliced

½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter

1 tbsp olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp smoked paprika
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes

1 tbsp chopped parsley

1 tbsp chopped chives

Salt and black pepper, to taste

½ cup (120 ml) reserved pasta water

Optional: grated Parmesan, crispy bacon
Instructions

Cook linguine in salted water until al dente, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

Heat olive oil and cook sliced chicken until golden and done.

Melt butter in the same skillet and add garlic, mustard, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, parsley, and chives.

Return chicken to the skillet and toss in cowboy butter.

Add cooked linguine and pasta water, tossing until the sauce coats the pasta.
