Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 8 slices brioche or challah

  • Butter for frying

  • Maple syrup and powdered sugar for serving


Instructions

  • Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a bowl until smooth.

  • Heat a skillet over medium low and melt a little butter.

  • Soak each slice of bread for 15–20 seconds per side.

  • Cook slices for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

  • Serve warm with syrup, powdered sugar, or toppings of choice.
