- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter with both sugars until smooth.
- Add eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla, then whisk until combined.
- Fold in flour, spices, baking powder, and salt.
- Melt chocolate chips with butter, then stir in cocoa powder and milk.
- Spread pumpkin batter into the pan.
- Spoon chocolate mixture over the top.
- Swirl with a knife to create a marbled pattern.
- Bake for 28 to 32 minutes until just set.
- Cool completely, slice into bars, and serve.
