Holiday dessert goals unlocked. These gingerbread latte mousse domes look fancy but taste like pure cozy comfort.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream, chilled

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tablespoons strong espresso or coffee

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Pinch nutmeg and cloves

  • 1 teaspoon powdered gelatin

  • 2 tablespoons cold water

  • 1/2 cup gingerbread cookie crumbs


Instructions

  • Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.

  • Warm espresso and dissolve gelatin completely.

  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

  • Mix in vanilla, spices, and espresso mixture.

  • Whip cream to soft peaks.

  • Fold whipped cream gently into mousse base.

  • Fill dome molds and add cookie crumbs on the base.

  • Chill 4 hours until set, then unmold and serve.
