Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk

  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 2 cups diced peaches (fresh, frozen, or canned and drained)

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

  • 3 tablespoons softened butter

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  • Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let sit until foamy.

  • Add egg, melted butter, and salt, then gradually mix in flour to form dough.

  • Knead dough for 6 to 8 minutes until smooth.

  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

  • Mix peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch in a bowl.

  • Roll dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter on top.

  • Evenly spread the peach mixture over the dough.

  • Roll tightly into a log and slice into 12 rolls.

  • Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.

  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.

  • Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to create glaze.

  • Drizzle glaze over warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
