Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

2 cups light brown sugar (packed)

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3 cups pecans (toasted)

4 cups crispy rice cereal

1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Toast pecans in a dry skillet for 3–4 minutes. Combine with crispy rice cereal in a large bowl.

Melt butter in a saucepan, add brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Pour caramel over cereal and nuts, fold to coat evenly.

Spread mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow to cool for 20–30 minutes.
