Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil

  • 1 tsp (4 g) coarse sea salt for topping

  • Optional: 1 tbsp sugar


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking tray.

  • Mix flour, baking powder, fine sea salt, and chopped rosemary in a bowl.

  • Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and stir gently.

  • Shape dough into a round loaf and place on the prepared tray.

  • Score the top with a shallow cross and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
