Description

Crispy on the outside, creamy and spicy on the inside, these Jalapeno Popper Egg Rolls are the ultimate bite-sized indulgence. Perfect for game day or any party, they disappear fast.


Ingredients

  • 12 egg roll wrappers

  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 2 fresh jalapenos, finely diced

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

  • 2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Vegetable oil, for frying


Instructions

  • Combine cream cheese, cheddar, jalapenos, green onions, bacon, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.

  • Lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape and place 2 tablespoons of filling in the center. Fold bottom corner over filling, fold in sides, roll tightly, and seal with beaten egg.

  • Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet or fryer.

  • Fry egg rolls 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy, then drain on paper towels.

  • Serve immediately with ranch, spicy aioli, or sweet chili sauce.

  • Optional oven-bake: Preheat to 425°F (220°C), brush with oil, bake 15–18 minutes, turning halfway.
