- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup caramel drizzle
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour melted butter into the baking dish.
- Cook peaches with sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, vanilla, and cornstarch until slightly thickened.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and milk into a smooth batter.
- Pour batter over butter without stirring.
- Spoon peach filling over the batter.
- Sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Drizzle caramel over the top.
- Let rest for 10 minutes and serve warm with ice cream
