Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel drizzle
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour melted butter into the baking dish.
  • Cook peaches with sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, vanilla, and cornstarch until slightly thickened.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and milk into a smooth batter.
  • Pour batter over butter without stirring.
  • Spoon peach filling over the batter.
  • Sprinkle pecans on top.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Drizzle caramel over the top.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes and serve warm with ice cream
