Sweet, spiced, and irresistibly moist, this Mincemeat Banana Bread turns classic banana bread into a holiday-worthy treat that everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 g) overripe bananas, mashed

  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened

  • ¾ cup (150 g) brown sugar, packed

  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups (190 g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg

  • ½ cup (150 g) mincemeat

  • ½ cup (60 g) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) milk


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

  • Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.

  • Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.

  • Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed bananas.

  • Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.

  • Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture.

  • Gently fold in mincemeat and optional nuts.

  • Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

  • Bake 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Rotate halfway for even baking.

  • Cool 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and serve.
