Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage, sliced into 11.5 inch steaks

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and heat a baking sheet inside.

  • Slice cabbage into even steaks, keeping the core intact.

  • Mix olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and spices.

  • Brush mixture onto both sides of cabbage steaks.

  • Place cabbage on hot baking sheet and roast 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve.
