Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  • Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let sit until foamy.
  • Mix flour and salt in a large bowl, then add yeast mixture and olive oil.
  • Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise until doubled.
  • Roll the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  • Add cheese, pepperoni, and seasoning evenly across the dough.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log and seal the edges.
  • Place seam-side down on a baking sheet and brush with egg.
  • Bake at 375°F until golden brown, then cool slightly and slice.
