Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup pistachio paste

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 4 oz dark chocolate

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • Chopped pistachios for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Boil water, butter, sugar, and salt until butter melts.

  • Add flour and stir until dough forms and pulls away from pan.

  • Cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time until smooth.

  • Pipe rounds onto baking sheets and smooth tops.

  • Bake until puffed and golden, then cool completely.

  • Whip cream with powdered sugar and fold in pistachio paste.

  • Melt chocolate with warm cream until smooth.

  • Fill buns with pistachio cream and chocolate.

  • Garnish and serve fresh.
