Ingredients

1 lb. beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 large red bell pepper, sliced

1 large green bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1/4 cup beef broth or water

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions

Slice beef against the grain and season lightly with black pepper. Prepare vegetables and sauces.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil over high heat, sear beef for 1–2 minutes per side, remove and set aside.

Stir-fry onions and peppers for 2–3 minutes, add garlic for 30 seconds.

Return beef to pan, pour in sauce mixture, stir until thickened, 2–3 minutes.
