Description

This salmon recipe turns simple fillets into a crispy, flaky dinner that tastes like it came from a restaurant. Perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each or 170 g each)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Let salmon rest at room temperature for 15 minutes and pat dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  • Place salmon skin-side down in the pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes without moving.

  • Flip the fillets, add butter and garlic, and spoon melted butter over the top for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Drizzle lemon juice over salmon and cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  • Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
