Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2 ½ cups whole milk

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp onion powder

  • Fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage until browned, breaking it into crumbles.

  • Add butter to the skillet and stir until melted.

  • Sprinkle flour over the sausage and cook while stirring for about 1 minute.

  • Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly to keep the gravy smooth.

  • Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder and stir well.

  • Let the gravy simmer for about 5 minutes until thick and creamy.

  • Adjust consistency with extra milk if needed.

  • Serve hot over warm biscuits.
