Rich, tender, and packed with savory flavor, this beef belly and egg dish is pure comfort in a bowl. One bite and you will crave it again and again.
Ingredients

1½ lbs beef belly, cut into cubes

4 large eggs, boiled and peeled

3 tbsp oyster sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp dark soy sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, sliced

1 tsp grated ginger
-
1 cup beef broth or water
-
½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water

2 green onions, sliced
Instructions

Boil eggs for 9–10 minutes, cool them in cold water, peel, and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan and sear beef belly pieces until browned.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until fragrant.

Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, broth, sugar, and pepper.

Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes until the beef becomes tender.

Add the boiled eggs and simmer another 10 minutes while turning them gently in the sauce.

Stir in the cornstarch slurry if a thicker sauce is desired and cook for 2 minutes.

Garnish with green onions and serve hot with steamed rice
