Sweet, savory, and perfectly sticky, these meatball pineapple smokies are a party favorite that cooks itself in the slow cooker. Your guests will be asking for seconds before the first bite is gone.
Ingredients

1 lb. frozen cocktail-sized meatballs

1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional for thickening)
Instructions

Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

Mix pineapple juice, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.

Add frozen meatballs to the slow cooker and layer pineapple chunks on top. Pour sauce over meatballs.

Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.

Optional: Stir in cornstarch mixture during the last 15 minutes to thicken the sauce.

Gently stir and serve warm, straight from the slow cooker or on a serving dish.
