1 lb. ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 small green bell pepper, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup ketchup

2 tbsp tomato paste

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp salt

Instructions

Chop onions, bell peppers, and mince garlic. Measure out all sauce ingredients.

Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if desired.

Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the beef; sauté 3–5 minutes until softened.

Mix in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until combined.

Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
