Description

A bowl of Spaghetti Bolognese that tastes like it came from your favorite Italian restaurant. This rich and hearty pasta dish is the perfect cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 12 oz spaghetti

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 carrot, diced

  • 1 celery stalk, diced

  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp dried basil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

  • Heat oil, then cook onion, carrot, and celery until soft.

  • Add garlic, then add the ground beef and brown it.

  • Stir in tomato paste, oregano, and basil.

  • Add crushed tomatoes and beef broth, then simmer 25–30 minutes.

  • Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente.

  • Drain pasta and toss it with the sauce.

  • Serve with Parmesan and basil.
