Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

12 oz spaghetti

1 tbsp olive oil

1 onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 carrot, diced

1 celery stalk, diced

1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 cup beef broth
-
1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp dried basil

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup grated Parmesan

Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil, then cook onion, carrot, and celery until soft.

Add garlic, then add the ground beef and brown it.

Stir in tomato paste, oregano, and basil.

Add crushed tomatoes and beef broth, then simmer 25–30 minutes.

Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente.

Drain pasta and toss it with the sauce.
