Ingredients

  • 2 packs Buldak Carbonara ramen noodles with seasoning packets

  • 12 oz sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp neutral oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 cup whole milk or half-and-half

  • 1 large egg yolk

  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Optional toppings like scallions or soft-boiled egg


Instructions

  1. Season steak lightly and sear in hot oil until browned, then remove and rest.

  2. Cook ramen noodles until tender, reserve some cooking water, and drain.

  3. Lower heat and sauté garlic in butter, then add milk and soy sauce.

  4. Temper egg yolk with warm milk and stir back into the pan off heat.

  5. Add seasoning packets and Parmesan, stirring until smooth.

  6. Toss noodles with sauce, loosening with reserved water as needed.

  7. Return steak to the pan, adjust spice, and serve hot.
