Description
This Steak Grilled Cheese takes the classic sandwich to the next level with juicy steak and melty cheese. One bite and you will never go back to plain grilled cheese.
Ingredients

12 oz ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced

4 slices sourdough or Texas toast

4 oz cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions

Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear in a hot skillet for 1–2 minutes per side, then set aside.

Butter one side of each bread slice evenly.

Place one slice butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat. Add half the cheese, steak slices, and remaining cheese.

Top with the second bread slice butter-side up and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and melted.

Rest briefly, slice, and serve hot.
