Description

These sticky garlic chicken noodles taste better than takeout and come together fast. One pan, bold flavor, and noodles you will want to slurp straight from the bowl.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced

  • 8 oz egg noodles or lo mein noodles

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 3 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • Sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  • Cook noodles according to package directions until just tender. Drain and set aside.

  • Whisk soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Add garlic to the same pan and cook briefly until fragrant.

  • Pour in the sauce mixture and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in cornstarch slurry until thickened.

  • Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sticky sauce.

  • Add noodles and toss until evenly coated and heated through.

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve hot.
